Once your painting is dry, the top sheet can be easily removed, revealing a fresh, clean surface underneath, keeping the rest of the block protected from dust and moisture.

Removing the paper from a watercolor block is a simple process. After the paint has fully dried, flip the block over and locate the unglued opening. Gently insert a knife or blade into the gap and run it around the edge, rotating the block counterclockwise while moving the knife in the opposite direction. Continue splitting the glue until the sheet breaks away, then remove any remaining adhesive with your fingers.
